This piece has gone through a lot of changes and iterations - I started it back in December. I finally landed on an approach that I was pleased with. I will also draw this character until I die, I love her.

Revisiting a piece I started last year but never finished. I had tried for a painterly rendered look, but I could not get it to where I liked it. Going for it again.

Getting back to basics with a couple of hand studies. I want to try to be more active on here, despite the fact that I get antsy when my page looks 'messy'. Also if your job is a grift, you should quit. I have spoken.

Now that the zine is out, I can finally share the piece I did for @eldenringzine Beyond the Fog, an Elden Ring fan zine for charity. I had to do my queen justice, because the world did her dirty. 👑

Learning to accept my art is difficult. I have so many ideas of what I want it to be, or what I would prefer it to be. I still enjoy the process. But I have to remember that even if the results aren't what I'd hoped, they're progress. And it's better than to have created nothing.

Forgot to post this one here! A little something I worked on in between larger projects. The bluejay is considered an omen of death in Irish folklore, but is also seen by some cultures as a trickster archetype.
